The Oregon Hunters Association (OHA) is increasing their reward offer to help Oregon State Police (OSP) arrest and convict the person(s) responsible for the unlawful killing and waste of a five point bull elk in Tillamook County two months ago.
On Monday February 4, OSP was notified by a citizen that a bull elk was seen laid out in a field near milepost 8 on Blaine Road. Another citizen stated that they saw about a dozen elk at the location that morning. A trooper responded to the location and seized the elk for salvage and evidence.
A reward has been increased up to $2500 dollars offered by the Oregon Hunters Association Turn-In-Poachers (TIP) reward program for information leading to the arrest and conviction in this case.
