Hunting trophies from around the world are going under the hammer.
A mounted bull moose, zebra and Javan leopard are all up for grabs tomorrow afternoon at auction house Lawsons on Moore St, Leichhardt.
Thousands of dollars will be spent by taxidermy enthusiasts eager to get their hands on some of the rare species in the recently added natural history and taxidermy category.
The leopard is the showpiece of the auction. Lawsons general manager Simon Hill said it had a quirky history. Photos.
