A Kampot cattle rustler’s all-too-casual approach to his cow-thieving ways didn’t pay off on Friday.
Police said the man, who had swiped two bovines the day before, simply walked to the next village looking for a buyer.
Having no luck, he tied the cows up and sat down to enjoy some coffee, which turned out to be more than enough time for locals, dubious of the cow’s provenance, to call police.
Arrested minutes later, the man quickly confessed and the cows have been returned.
