Authorities have arrested five suspected rhino poachers just outside Phalaborwa in Limpopo.
They were found on Thursday in possession of a hunting rifle with the serial number filed off, 20 rounds of live ammunition and three butcher knives.
Police on patrol had spotted a suspicious-looking bakkie and apprehended the suspects, who were on their way to a nearby game reserve.
