The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking information about an adult buck antelope shot and killed, south of Gillette. A media release from the Game and Fish indicated that the crime took place between 6 in the evening on Saturday, July 12 and 6 in the morning on Sunday, July 13 on the Black and Yellow Road. The head and back straps were the only parts of the carcass that were removed. The rest of the antelope was left to rot.
The Game and Fish is asking that anyone with information about this poaching to report it immediately by calling the STOP POACHING Hotline at 1-(877) WGFD-TIP, or by contacting Game Warden Teal Joseph directly at 307-682-4353.
