The Hawkins County Sheriff's Office is currently looking into a report of stolen cattle from a man's property in Rogersville.
According to a HCSO news release, a man told investigators that sometime between the end of December and the middle of March, someone had taken 21 cattle from the property located on Beech Grove Road.
The man said he walked the perimeter of his land, but was unable to find any clues to indicate that the cattle may have gotten out on their own.
He said all 21 cattle are registered black Angus with a total value of $60,000.
On the cattle are brands on the right shoulder and an identification number, which is tattooed in both ears and left rear hip.
