ALPENA — The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks received a report of a deer that was shot approximately two miles northwest of Alpena.
The buck was shot when the season is closed, the night of Sunday, Sept. 21 or the morning of Sept. 22.
The deer was left to waste without any meat removed.
The individual(s) shooting this deer are stealing from the public and depleting the wildlife resources in the area, according to officials.
A reward for information leading to the arrest of these individual(s) is being offered by Turn In Poachers (TIPs).
