Police are appealing for information after a suspected poaching incident in Northumberland.
Between 5am and 6am on Friday, April 18, a 4x4 vehicle was driven through the gates to a field on a farm south of Riding Mill village. While on the land a dog attacked and killed a sheep.
It's believed those involved were poaching on the land.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident, anyone who saw suspicious activity or vehicles on the land or who has information about those involved to get in touch with police.
