Two teenagers with dogs were arrested at Newbury showground yesterday (Monday), on suspicion of poaching.
According to Thames Valley Police, at just before 9pm yesterday (Monday), a member of the public reported seeing lights coming from a field at Newbury Showground, in Priors Court Road, Chieveley.
Police officers located two men, aged 16 and 19, with lurcher type dogs walking along Priors Court Road.
One of the men had a bright lamp and battery pack which was seized and both were arrested and on suspicion of entering land as a trespasser at night with poaching equipment.
Both were bailed to appear at Newbury Police station on February 8.
