Last week, federal prosecutors filed charges against two men they say "cannonballed" onto a manatee and her calf from a Cocoa Beach dock last year.
The incident was captured on an amateur video and posted to Facebook. It shows the suspects spraying water from a hose toward the drifting manatees, and one man leaps off the dock onto the sea cows.

Prosecutors cited the Endangered Species Act and Florida Manatee Sanctuary Act in a court filing. No hearing date has been set in U.S. District Court in Orlando.
