Arrest warrants have been issued for a Lauderdale County man in connection with the theft of cattle and a cattle trailer from a Wayne County farm in October, authorities said.
Chief Deputy Gerald Baer of the Wayne County Sheriff’s office, said Darryl Wade Paulk, 31, of Lauderdale 85, Cloverdale, is wanted on two charges of theft of property.
Baer said Paulk is accused of taking 18 cows and three calves on Oct. 27 from a farm on Gilchrist Road, which is in southern Wayne County in the Cypress Inn community.
Baer said a $500 reward is being offered for information leading to Paulk’s capture.
