The Ministry of Tourism and Arts has invited the public to visit its stand at the Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) to learn more about the country’s tourism and arts sectors.
Speaking at the ongoing Trade Fair in Ndola, stand manager Wilfred Moonga said the ministry was trying to promote tourism to the public.
Among some tourism activities that the ministry was promoting are wildlife, objects of pre-historic and historic culture, aesthetic value, arts and intangible cultural heritage products which were being achieved through various partnerships.
On wildlife, Mr Moonga said the Government had signed multilateral agreements such as bio-diversity conservations and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species.
He said the ministry was also revamping traditional ceremonies to encourage the promotion of culture among the people.
