The Green Scorpions have the warned Northern Cape farmers not to become complacent because of no incidents of poaching in the province.
Almost 800 rhinos were killed for their horns since the beginning of the year. But Northern Cape rhino farmers say they are winning the fight against the scourge.
They say their province is free from poaching because of the vastness and lack of hiding places. The war against poaching that started in the Kruger National Park has reached most corners of South Africa.
Free State Green Scorpion, Werner Boeing says once poaching in the Kruger National Park is under control, other provinces will be targeted.
"That's the big threat, that's the big worry. The Kruger Park is going to come under control - things are working there at a big tempo. And once the Kruger Park is under control, I guarantee you they're going to start taking us down like flies. The people we are arresting are from Mozambique and people from that area ,"say Boeing.
