A man has been summonsed to court after being spotted hunting with dogs on land near Selby.
The man aged 33 and from Carlisle in Cumbria, was seen trespassing on land at Longland Farm in North Duffield at around 2.30pm on Thursday 28 November 2013.
When officers from the Operation Jumbo team arrived at the scene they saw the man with a lurcher dog which had blood on its legs.
There was another lurcher in the man's Vauxhall Vectra which was parked nearby.
The man was taken to a local police station for questioning before being summoned to appear in court.
A date will be set for his hearing in due course.
