Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks is investigating yet another moose poaching.
This moose was found at the Yorks Islands Fishing Access just south of Townsend.
"I'm disgusted by them," said Vito Quartraro, hunter.
Since September, officials report three poached moose across the state.
The first was during the first week in September. Officials found a cow moose at Moser Creek. Just this weekend a bull moose was found near Schwartz Creek Road near Missoula and now another bull moose at the Yorks Islands Fishing Access just south of Townsend is found poached.
And people aren't happy about it.
"My fear is that hunters and hunting will take the blame for poaching," said Quartraro.
Quartraro has been hunting for over 50 years.
He said there is a difference between hunters and poachers.
"These are not hunters. No rational hunter would poach an animal and leave it lay."
