The South African National Parks (SANParks) says it is working with other countries to stop rhino poaching.
So far, 946 rhino have been killed in the country since the beginning of 2013.
SANParks says the majority of poachers come from outside the South Africa with over 90 percent of them crossing the border from Mozambique.
It says the Mozambican government has been active in the fight against rhino poaching.
SANPark's Reynold Thakhuli said, “A few weeks ago we received a confinement from Japan with ivory and rhino horns so that tells you that we’re working with authorities from other parts of the world.”
