Thieves pulled down a perimeter fence to steal 30 pheasants from a farm.
Police believe the birds were shot on the ground before they were stolen on Thursday or Friday in Grazeley.
The crooks drove onto the farm off Mortimer Road between 3.30pm on Thursday and 1.30pm on Friday.
Police have increased patrols in rural areas with 4x4 vehicles.
