Game Warden Chris Baird is investigating an incident where four mule deer does and fawns were taken illegally over the Thanksgiving Holiday in the Kemmerer area.
A person living in the area reported that the carcasses were discovered dumped in the Wheat Creek area north of Kemmerer. Investigation of the incident showed that the deer were most likely taken with a small caliber firearm, most of the meat was taken, and the deer were most likely killed close to Thanksgiving Day. The game warden says he has collected some strong evidence, but needs the public's help in identifying suspects.
