The Integrated Tiger Habitat Conservation Programme (ITHCP) of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has announced a call for field-based projects for tiger conservation.
Nine tiger range countries are eligible for funding under this programme, as are multidisciplinary projects delivered by collaborative partnerships. ITHCP contributes to tiger conservation through projects that reduce pressure on forest resources, human-tiger conflict and poaching.
This five-year programme is funded by Germany through the KfW Development Bank. The application deadline is 30 November 2014.
