Lemur March – Come and learn more about the fascinating animals of the incredible island of Madagascar! Join our education team for a guided walk and talk around the lemur and fossa enclosures at 12:30 or 14:00. These are pre-booked tours with a maximum of 10 people (Ages 7+, children must be accompanied by an adult). Book on the day, in The Gatehouse, on a first come, first served basis. Subject to availability. Time subject to change.
Animal Talks - Talk and feed times during the weekend will be updated daily. Talks will be spread throughout the day between 10.30 and 16.00. Please see the talk boards at Base Camp and around the Park for an overview of all talks taking place during the day
Marvellous Madagascar Quiz – See how much you know about our prosimian cousins by playing our Marvellous Madagascar Quiz, look for the questions at the lemur enclosures (Under 16s only, prize will be a JR or KA experience day, dependant on the age of the participant). 50p per entry, all proceeds go to TAF Madagascar Project.
The Aspinall Foundation Madagascar Conservation presentation by Tony King (Sunday 16th only) – Join our Madagascar Project Director in the Aspinall Suite at 14:30 on Sunday 16th March for an excellent opportunity to hear from a leading conservation expert on the vital work The Aspinall Foundation has been doing to protect lemurs in their native habitat. Limited spaces available (50) so please arrive on time to ensure your place, presentation lasts approximately 30 minutes. Pre-booked at gatehouse.
